Karthikeyan Subbiah
Founder and Chairman
He is the Founder and Chairman of Apple Valley Special School, has a background in Chemical Engineering, having graduated from the University of Chennai. His pursuit of knowledge continued with postgraduate studies at the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. Currently, he holds the role of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Risk Lead in the Energy sector, showcasing his commitment to ensuring safety and environmental responsibility in his professional endeavors.
Beyond his work in the Energy sector, Karthikeyan Subbiah is actively engaged in various ventures and directorial roles. He serves as a Director of Vivartana Ventures Pvt Ltd. Additionally, he holds the position of Director at Sciencecotonic Edu Pvt Ltd, indicating an interest in the educational sector. His involvement as a partner in Nature Supermarket, a supermarket chain in Qatar, reflects his diverse business engagements.
One notable aspect of Karthikeyan Subbiah’s character is his strong belief in the importance of serving the underprivileged. This philosophy is reflected in his dedication to establishing and leading the Apple Valley Charitable Trust, demonstrating a commitment to the betterment of society, especially in the realm of education and opportunities for individuals with special needs.

Thiraimbika
Managing Trustee
She is the Managing Trustee of Apple Valley Special School, is a Licensed Special Needs Educator with a wealth of experience both in India and abroad.
Her career has been dedicated to working with special children for the past 15 years, highlighting her commitment to the field of special education.
In addition to her professional expertise, Thiriambika brings a personal connection to her role as a parent. As the mother of a teenaged daughter with Autism, she intimately understands and can empathize with the challenges that parents of special children face.
This personal experience has contributed to her deep compassion and insight into the unique needs of families dealing with special needs.
Thiriambika has evolved into a versatile and dedicated child advocate, demonstrating a solid focus on improving the individual needs of special children.
Her role as the Managing Trustee suggests a leadership position where she plays a crucial role in shaping the vision and mission of the center.
